Senior Medical Specialist:

Minimum qualification for General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine: MBBS from a recognized institute/college approved by the Medical Council of India with a recognized Post Graduate Degree/DNB and a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience.
For other specialties, in addition to the above, a Post Graduate Diploma is also considered a minimum eligible qualification.
Periods of Tutorship from National Medical Council/Commission recognized Medical College/Institute and completed Fellowship courses recognized by the Medical Council of India will be accepted as post-qualification experience.
Experience in private practice/self-clinic may also be considered as post-qualification experience.
